Hi everyone, I am a student of Welham Boys' School currently. Studying in a renowned boarding school, I have had the privilege of being exposed to a number of sports, many have not experienced. I have tried squash, swimming, soccer and tennis, achieved a lot in table tennis, and also played cricket and hockey for some fun. But, the two games I am longing to play are volleyball and archery which I haven't even tried till now. I am sorry if I am boasting about myself, but I have got the third rank in the team event of the IPSC Table Tennis Championship and also won a gold in the team event of another tournament held in Uttarakhand. I have played inter-house competitions of table tennis, swimming and was about to play hockey and tennis but the schools shut down due to the pandemic.

Anyways, my favourite sport is cricket (it might sound surprising as I have not even played a single cricket competition). I play it for fun at home. It is so because I was scared of the ball earlier, the phobia of which, I eliminated long back but, since I did not play it from the beginning, I don't have a good hand at it, professionally. But, I still like it because there is moderate amount of running in that neither too less (like table tennis) nor too much (like hockey and soccer). Also, this is a game of gambles where you can try your luck sometimes by making silly decisions. Also, I feel the captain's role on a cricket field is very different from that, on any other sports arena because it's usually a captain who does make decisions.

So, this is all from my first post. Goodbye!
